(state variables P, V, T, n, state functions U, H, G, S…)


Formerly in charge of the course on solid state (for ≈300 postgraduate students):

  • Crystallography : description of the model for ordered solid state (unit cell, lattice parameters, lattice systems, Bravais lattices, space groups, direct/reciprocal lattices)
  • Presentation of a few typical crystal structures
  • Introduction to crystal structure determination (methods in direct and in reciprocal spaces)
  • Introduction to crystal engineering
